If you require an appointment then the General Medical Council will expect a referral letter to me, from your General Practitioner, if you are a UK resident. However, there are sometimes circumstances when this is not appropriate to involve your GP.
It is a mandatory requirement from insurance companies that a General Practitioner requests the referral in order that fees can be reimbursed. Dr Rowlands is registered with all the major insurance companies in the UK.
Dr Rowlands Fees
The fee for a new patient appointment is £350, which is for an hour to an hour and a half consultation at which I will make an assessment and write to your general practitioner if required. Follow-up appointments are £180.
Prescriptions written outside of the consultation are £30.
Telephone consultations and Domiciliary Visits can be arranged and will be charged separately.
